Most print projects start with the same few questions. How fast can you do it? What file do you need? Which printing method makes sense? We hear these every day at our counters, so we put the answers in one place.
Atlantic Printing & Design has served businesses, schools and nonprofits since 1989. We work with customers across Ocean and Monmouth County, from first-time buyers to agency designers. If your question isn’t here, call any of our shops. A real person will pick up and help.
Turnaround and Ordering
Many jobs are ready in 24 to 48 hours. Timing depends on quantity, paper stock and finishing work like folding or binding. Tell us your deadline when you place the order. If the date looks tight, we’ll say so up front and suggest options that fit.
Often, yes. We’ve turned around event banners in less than a day. We once printed a replacement trade show banner in under 48 hours. Rush work depends on what’s already on press, so call as early as you can. The sooner we see your file, the more options you have.
Call any of our shops or use our contact form. For a quick, accurate quote, share the item and quantity, finished size and paper. Let us know about color, finishing and your deadline too. Don’t worry if you’re unsure about paper or finishing. We’ll walk you through the choices and explain the cost of each.
No. We print everything from a single poster to thousands of mailers. A small business card order gets the same attention as a full direct mail campaign. Every job is handled by our team from the first file check to the final pickup.
Files and Design
You don’t need a finished file. Our in-house, college-trained designers can build a piece from your logo and a few notes. They can also clean up a file that isn’t ready for press. Learn more about our graphic design and prepress services.
A high-resolution PDF with fonts embedded is the safest choice for most jobs. For logos, vector files such as AI, EPS or SVG keep edges sharp at any size. Photos should be at least 300 dpi at the size you plan to print. Not sure what you have? Read our guide on what a vector file is and why it matters.
Choosing a Printing Method
Digital printing suits short runs, quick deadlines and pieces with personalized names or addresses. Offset printing is the better value for large quantities and gives very consistent color across a long run. We offer both, so we’ll recommend the method that fits your quantity, budget and timeline. See our digital and offset printing services.
Yes. Color matching is part of our prepress work. Send us your brand guide or the color codes you use, such as Pantone or CMYK values. We’ll check them before printing so your logo looks the same across cards, signs and mailers.

We fold, cut, score, perforate and laminate. For booklets, catalogs and manuals, we offer coil, comb, perfect and hard cover binding. Specialty coatings can give a piece a more polished feel. See our booklet printing and binding services.
Direct Mail and EDDM
EDDM is a USPS program that delivers your mailer to every address on the carrier routes you choose. You don’t need a mailing list. That makes it a simple way for restaurants, contractors and local shops to reach nearby households. We design the piece, print it, prepare it to postal rules and handle the USPS submission.
